He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Clifton "Cliff" Wester and Ossie Currin Wester. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Greene Wester of Red Oak; his children, Alfred "Ditto" Lane Wester, Jr. (Lisa) of Raleigh, Tanya Wester Colagerakis (Jeff) of Wilmington and Stacy Greene Wester of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Brittany, Tyler, Hannah Colagerakis, Taylor and Davis Wester; his brother C. R. "Reggie" Wester (Jane) of Rocky Mount; and his brothers-in-law, E. W. "Dub" Greene, Jr. (Betty), Mickey Greene (Audrey) and Greg Greene (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
