He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher Turner and Alice Turner; and his siblings, Marie Hoover and Willie Turner. He is survived by: his wife Jean Marsh Turner; his children, Joseph "Joey" Turner (Rebecca) of Randleman and Renee Gilliland (Jay) of Randleman; his stepchildren, Lisa Rush (Jeff) of Randleman and Marshall Robertson (Gayle) of Randleman; his grandchildren, Ashley Layton, Adam Gilliland, Cody Gilliland, Quincy Gilliland, Zachary Jefferson, Jonathan Jefferson, Emily Murray (Aaron), Carrie Robertson and Garrett Robertson; his great grandchild Savannah Murray; and his nephews, Mike Turner of Jefferson City, TN and Larry Turner of Eden.
