She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletcher Franklin Johnson and Dorothy Lessie Rich Johnson; her husband Eugene Tate; and her sons, Jimmy D. Allred, Ernest Lee Allred and Carl A. "Buddy" Allred (Wanda).

She is survived by: her children, Bobbie Fowler (David), Dorothy Callicutt (Mike), Vickie Thornsbury (Tom), Jacky Allred and Fletcher Allred. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren.
