He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Juanita; his sons, Timmy Laughlin and Sam Laughlin, Jr.; his parents, Wister Laughlin and Bertha Barnes Laughlin; his children, Wanda Cox (Lee) of High Point, Eva Hussey of Level Cross and Tony Laughlin (Amy) of Randleman; and his grandchildren, Sherry Foster (Marvin), Archie Moore (Antria), Carolyn Myers (Billy), Bobby Moore, Johnny Hussey (Phanya) and Tina Klein (Blake). He was also cherished by 11 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.
