He is survived by: his mother Anita Deaton of Randleman; his children, Malcolm VonCannon (Wanda) of Asheboro, Sissy and Melanie Stewart (Travis) of Lexington; his stepsiblings, Danielle Sheffield of Asheboro, James Daniel Sheffield (Dana) of Asheboro, Angela Deaton, Christie Deaton Cox (Jason) of Raleigh, Michael Deaton, Jr. (Maria) of Asheboro and Johnathan Deaton of Staley; his aunts and uncles, Clayton Burrow (Inez), Lou Wilson, Kenneth Burrow, Elizabeth Burrow, Diana Burrow, Judie McClelland and Marie VonCannon; and his nieces and nephews, Tori Waynick, Ayden Stewart, Jake, Taylor and Kason Snow.
