He was predeceased by: his mother Frances Silver; his stepfather James Silver; and his grandparents, Gordon and Lucille Cottle. He is survived by: his sister Donna Robertson; his nephew David Robertson; his stepdaughter Laura Adams; and his uncle Carey Cottle.

“So sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I knew him from the mid-eighties ,- early nineties. He helped move equipment for our band. We had some good times. As strong as he was, he was also a caring, gentle, and funny guy. A fond memory is when our sound man had his young daughter at band practice. She had a bag of m&m's. He offered a quarter for every red one. That bag was half full of red ones. He couldn't believe she kept pulling red ones out. But he paid up. Sorry he's left us. Mark Campbell”
