She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Shatley and Beatrice Wagnor Shatley; her son Terry Wayne Tilley; and her brothers, Carson, Alan, Danny and Ballard Shatley.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby J. Tilley; her children, Michael James Tilley of Asheboro, Wendy Ann Tilley (Shannon Small) of Asheboro and Ricky Lee Tilley (Kimberly) of Randleman; and her siblings, Shirley Sheets and Billy Shatley of West Jefferson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
