She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Clarence and Rettie Pittman Buchanan; her husbands, J. B. McKinney and Charles Silver; and her grandson Jason Ledford.
She is survived by: her children, Jolene Ledford (Roy) of Randleman and Barry J. McKinney (Karen) of Spruce Pine; her grandchildren, Justin Ledford (Krystal) of Randleman, Nikki Rountree (Dennis) of Johnson City, TN, Mindy McKinney of Spruce Pine and LeAnn Rasmusson (Patrick) of Randleman; and her sister Dorothy Presnell of Bakersville. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
