She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Johnson and Annie Davis Johnson; and her brother Leonard Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Ray "Tot" Hyatt; and her children, Deborah Carter (John) of Randleman, Connie Lewis (Brian) of Randleman, Robert Hyatt (Teresa) of Southport and Ken Hyatt (Mitzi) of Randleman. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
