With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise Mattie Johnson of Randleman, North Carolina, who passed away on August 7, 2022 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Parson and Bertha Ann Jarrell; and her siblings, Pete Parson, John Henry Parson, George Parson, Clyde "Bunt" Parson, Wilbur Jarrell, Thomas "Sonny Boy" Parson and Ida Craig.

She is survived by: her husband Nathaniel Johnson; and her children, Bonnie, Joyce and Jamie.

Until the pandemic prevented her, she was always in attendance on Sundays at her home church, Galilee, and frequently visited Harshaw Grove, and St. Peter, where she enjoyed good gospel music, naming in particular Kevin Price, the Shining Stars, and Harshaw Grove's male choir.
