He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Dorothy Gentry of Hot Springs, NC.; his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Crotts Henley; his children, Linda Cranford, Danny Henley (Marie), Ann Shaw (Richard "Dick") and Scott Henley (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jason Cranford (Leslie), Emily Welch (Chad) and Matt Henley (Tonya); his great grandchildren, Brantly Cranford, Jaxon Welch, Easton Henley and Phoenix Welch; and his sister Ruth Linthicum Culler. He was also cherished by several step- grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
