He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl and Viola Davis Allred; and his siblings, Irene Reynolds, Marie Allred, Wallace Allred, Eugene Allred and Ray Allred.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Harvell Allred; his daughters, Carol Cash (Doug) of Franklinville and Janet Hughes (Kenneth) of Randleman; his siblings, Ruth Allred, Louise Allred (Gene), Catherine Bean, Clancy Allred (Jeanette), Lonnie Allred (Kathy) and Carl Allred, Jr. (Sue); and his grandchildren, Jordan Stein (Megan) of Milton, Christin Stein of Franklinville, Lauren Hughes of Randleman and Ryan Hughes of Randleman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
