He is survived by: his wife Carol Latham Savchak; his children, Elisha Savchak-Trogdon (Justin) of Randleman and Eugene John Savchak, III (April) of Randleman; his sister Barbara Craven; and his grandchildren, Lucas, James, Clementine and Scarlett.
