She is survived by: her husband Tom Helms; her sons, Chad Lee Helms and Joshua Bennett Helms; her grandson Cory Lee Helms; her father Troy Lee Patterson; and her siblings, Theresa Rose Mitchem (Mike) and Rev. Marvin Douglas Patterson (Wanda).
