She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Shope Jr.; her father Clarence Sparks; and her brother Darrell Jesse Sparks. She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Cain (James) of Asheboro, Patricia Matthews (Brent) of Asheboro and Tammy Lambeth (Sid) of Asheboro; her mother Fannie Sherron; her siblings, Laurie Mathis (Randy) of Candler, Kim Garner (Michael) of Asheboro, Steve Sparks (Kim) and David Sparks (Sandy) of Morganton; her grandchildren, Kaylie (Cole), Madalyn, Bryson, Sydney, Carley, Makenzie, Alyssa and Weston; and her great grandchild Ryder. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
