He was predeceased by: his parents, Blaine Thompson and Edith Thompson; his uncles, Larry Thompson and Leon Thompson; his sisters, Glenda Anouilh and Dorothy Dart (Dottie); and his granddaughter Tensly Andrews.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Thompson; his children, Diana Spencer of Martinsville, Anna Marie Andrews (Cory Beasley) of Siler City and Brian Daniel Thompson (Maggie) of Charlotte; his sister Debbie Boyd of Bassett, VA; his stepson Dusty Phillips Jr.; his grandchildren, Alexis (Wesley Thompson), Kylie Andrews, Toby Andrews and Levi Andrews (Kaydence Andrews); and his brother-in-law John Anouilh of Martinsville, VA. He is also survived by niece, a nephew, aunts, uncles and many friends.
