He is survived by: his wife Linda Matthews Coltrane; his stepson Mario David Matthews of Texas; his daughters, Florence Nina Hemphill of Randleman and Christina Godfrey of Asheboro; his sisters, Catherine Gant (Leroy), Emma Davis and Pearl Allen of Randleman; and his grandchildren, Riley Godfrey, Wyatt Godfrey, Layla Godfrey, Jaden Matthews, Makayla Johnson, Amiyah Hemphill and Warren Hemphill, Jr..
