With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Gene Atkinson of Randleman, North Carolina, born in Hartsville, South Carolina, who passed away on October 13, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Kennedy Bohacheck and Roland Atkinson; his siblings, Ray Atkinson and Margie Walker; and his daughter Elizabeth Matthews.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Atkinson; and his daughters, Pam McFall (late Donald), Kathy Cooke (Terry) and Barbara Booker (Steve). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Cornerstone Baptist Church of High Point NC.
