She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Beck; her children, Marie McMasters and Donald Beck; her parents, Willie Saunders and Roxie Cain Saunders; and her siblings, Eula Smith, Elaine Brown, Clyde Saunders, Boyd Saunders and Lynn Saunders.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Lawson (Wayne) of Ramseur; her grandchildren, Sherrie Phillips, Emily Smith, Susan Ferguson, Phil Lawson and Kim Garner; and her aunt Virginia Cain Staines. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren.
