He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ernest and Teresa Garner Whitehead; and his siblings, Cornea W. Brown and Ronnie Ritter. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Dawn Whitehead of Siler City, Herman Charles Whitehead of Staley and Anthony William Whitehead of Staley; his granddaughter Gabriella Whitehead of Staley; and his sisters, Cathy Overman of Ramseur, Donna Pate of Staley, Elsie Whitehead of Wilmington and Martha Foust of Ramseur.
