It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayland D. Brown of Ramseur, North Carolina, who passed away on April 29, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred Brown and Johnsie Morgan Brown. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Scott Brown; his stepsons, Andy Pate (Lisa) of Ararat, Rusty Pate (Lynette) of High Point and Mickey Pate (Jill) of Asheboro; and his brother W. A. Brown (Rochelle) of Greensboro. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
