She was predeceased by: her husband David Staley; her parents, Donald Ray and Mary Parker Sheffield; and her brother Steve Sheffield. She is survived by: her son B. L. Staley (Kristen) of Asheboro; her siblings, Donna Kivett of Asheboro and Jimmy Sheffield; her sister-in-law Martha of Asheboro; her brother Scott Sheffield (Tammy) of Ramseur; and her stepgranddaughter Emma Ammen.
