She was predeceased by: her parents, Everette Thompson and Bernice Beale Thompson (Reiner Karl Weiss); and her siblings, Nancy McIntosh, Sarah Thompson, Winfred "Bo" Thompson and Garrette Lee Thompson.
She is survived by: her sons, Frankie Lee York of Liberty and Everette W. "Bub" York of Franklinville; her siblings, Phyllis Williams (Jim) of Franklinville and Everette Ray Thompson of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Kyle Jordan, Hannah Pullum, Krystal Ledford and Michelle Sechrist; and her great grandchildren, Layla Ledford, Olivia Jordan, Dakota Troutman, Liam Jordan and Amuri Kennedy.
