She was predeceased by: her parents, George Tate and Mary Ellen Lineberry; and her son Charles Lednum. She is survived by: her daughter Maria Kithcart; her grandson Britton Kithcart; her sisters, Phyllis Ball and Cecile Durham; her brother-in-law Mike Durham; and her close friends, Linda Allred, Harvey, Clarice Ann Chriscoe, Nancy York and Lena Brooks. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kildee Church (1021 Kildee Church Rd, Ramseur, NC 27316).
