It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Lee Cardwell of Ramseur, North Carolina, born in Suffolk, Virginia, who passed away on April 27, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Cardwell, Sr.; her children, Albert Cardwell, Jr., Brenda Cardwell and Janice Cardwell; and her parents, Ernest Twiddy and Cora Rhodes Twiddy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Carper of Ramseur, Debbie Jordan (Larry) of Denton and Nancy Cockerham of Asheboro; and her daughter-in-law Kathy Cardwell of Harrisburg. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren.
