She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Hugh Baxter; her son Phil Baxter; her parents, Aldie Cain and Cladie Caviness Cain; and her siblings, Paul Cain, Geneva Hammer, Ruby Pierce, Hazel Gardner and Jeanette Wilson.
She is survived by: her son Mike Baxter (Jill) of Asheboro; her daughter-in-law Sheila Baxter of Coleridge; her grandchildren, Adam Baxter (Katie), Lauren Baxter, Scottie Ryder (Brandi) and Spencer Ryder (Chelsey); and her great grandchildren, Bristol Baxter, Baylor Baxter, Cameron Ryder and Weston Ryder.
