He was predeceased by: his father Hampton Scotton. He is survived by: his mother Edna Brafford Scotton of Ramseur; his siblings, Jill Mitchell (Allen) of Siler City and Jay Scotton (Ronda) of Coleridge; and his nieces and nephews, Melissa Mitchell, Julikaye Scotton, Jayson Scotton and Jaron Scotton.
