She is survived by: her son Lee Whitehead (Erin) of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Erica Welch of Ramseur and Bryson Whitehead of Asheboro; her great grandchildren, Madison Welch and Zack Monroe Thomas Manghese; and her stepgrandchildren, Emma Adams, Shelbie Ramey, Daniel Ramey and Melissa Ramey.
