He is survived by: his wife Lori Kivett Edwards; his children, Tonya Branch (Artie) of Tennessee and Joseph Edwards of Ramseur; his sister Patricia Bralley of Asheboro; and his aunt Judy Lucas of Asheboro. He is also survived by six grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
