He is survived by: his children, Mitzi Wilson (Dana) of Cumming, GA and Mickey Smith (Tammy) of Liberty; his brother Herbert Smith of New Bern; his grandchildren, Brittany Groseclose (Graham), Annie Smith, Hannah Wilson and Shane Wilson; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Vickrey of Liberty, Sue Garner (W. T.) of Liberty, Midge Vickrey of Liberty, Larry Vickrey (Deanna) of Liberty and Ronnie Vickrey (Glenda) of Myrtle Beach, SC..
