He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Adams and Iva Hutchison Adams. He is survived by: his wife Emily Dials Adams; his children, Connie A. Stanley (Richard) of Ramseur, Paul R. "Rick" Adams II (Alice) of Beaufort and Charles R. "Chuck" Adams (Theresa King) of Asheboro; his siblings, Ruth Ann Whitley of Providence, RI, Janet Hricko of Cleveland, Cindy VanHoose (Bill) of Blue's Creek, David Adams of Arizona, Dale Adams of Iowa, Joe Adams of Columbus and Curtis DeAtley of Cleveland; and his grandchildren, Brandy Hatchel, Kimberly Roark, Kiefer Adams, Joey Adams, Paul Adams III, Katie Escutia and Tyler Adams. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
