She was predeceased by: her husband Ottis Walker Ashworth; and her parents, Edgar McCoy and Mary Ball McCoy. She is survived by: her children, Susan Roses (Bo) of Ramseur, Sandra Cox Hosington (Paul) of Sophia and Roy Cox of Ramseur; and her siblings, Margaret Ledbetter of Ramseur, Brenda McCoy Hoover (Larry) of Asheboro and Larry D. McCoy of Ramseur. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren.
