She was predeceased by: her parents, John William and Lena Ammons Blackman; her significant other Jim Loflin; and her siblings, Christine West Culbreth of Lorene Wilson, J. D, Bernice Blackman, Douglas Blackman, Bill Blackman, Judy Terry and Bud Blackman.
She is survived by: her brother Ronnie Blackman of Lillington; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Blackman of Cameron, Carolyn Blackman of Sanford and Audney Terry of Sanford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
