It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lemmie Nathan Stanley Jr. of Ramseur, North Carolina, who passed away on October 7, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemmie Nathan and Pearlie Jenkins Stanley, Sr.; and his sons-in-law, Jeff Broyles and Clay Hatchel. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jean Stanley; his children, Annette Broyles of Ramseur, Angela Holder (Vince) of Ramseur, Alison Hatchel of Ramseur, Richard Stanley (Connie) of Ramseur and Stephen Stanley (Sandra) of Asheboro; and his grandchildren, Scott Broyles (Kara), Shawn Broyles (Tracy), Crystal Whitaker, Brandy Hatchel (Thomas), Kim Roark (Jason), Faith Yoder, Jessica Kealy, Joel Holder (Christina), Meagan McCallum (Chase), Josh Stanley, Dustin Hatchel, Brooke Parnell (Wayne) and Austin Hatchel. He is also survived by twenty four great-grandchildren.
