He is survived by: his children, Leilani "Loni" Witsaman (Steve) of Ramseur, Sue Smith (Gary) of Ramseur and Mike Tupper (Doris) of Asheboro; his sister Linda Shute of Winston Salem; and his cousin Karen Warden of New Jersey. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
