He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Aaron and Luna Johnson Elberson; his wife Lola Henson Elberson; and his brothers, Joe Elberson and Henry Elberson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Presnell (Robert) of Randleman, Regina Herlocker (Craig) of Badin and Vickie Callicutt (Perry) of Staley; his sisters, Betty Brown (Roy) of Asheboro and Linda Bart-Thange of Alabama; his grandchildren, Nathan Hilton of Colby Hilton, K. C, Marina Herlocker, Seldon Herlocker, Abbie Callicutt, Chance Callicutt and Devin Callicutt; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Elberson of Liberty, Cindy Elberson of Asheboro, Cleo Henson of Asheboro, Lois Ritter of Ramseur, Jane Dunn of Carthage and Doris Voncannon of Asheboro.
