He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Butler Brown; his children, Cedric Brown of Ramseur, Damon Brown of Staley and Monica Brown Goldston (Rod) of Ramseur; his siblings, Faye Mason of Ramseur, Harvey Brown of Ramseur and Fred Brown of Maryland; his grandchildren, Andrekes Brown, Shaunte Brown, Callie Everett and Jacob Goldston; his nephew Dwight "Eddie" Isley; and his close friend Ernell Watson. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
