He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine Allen Moore; his parents, George Ernest and Anna Mary Cox Moore; and his siblings, Mabel Bray, Ann Hinshaw, Tom Moore and Arnold Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Jill Moore (Richard Garner) of Ramseur and Jeff Moore of Florida; and his friend Evan McKinnon of Ramseur. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
