He was predeceased by: his parents, Talton Graham and Novia Davis Cox; and his son Ken Cox. He is survived by: his wife Louise Steed Cox; his children, Marta Trusdell (Jim) of Elizabeth City and Robert Cox (Lisa) of Ramseur; his grandchildren, Christy Cox Nicholson (Cody), Wesley Cox, Benjamin Graham Cox, William Hampton Cox, Joseph Talton Cox, Margaret Lesley Graham (Allen) and William Henry Bowers; his great grandchild Zoie Graham; his stepgreat-grandson Keegan Lee Duke; and his stepchildren, Tracey Wilkerson (Jeff) of Asheboro, Tina Luther (John) of Asheboro and Lee Duke (Robin) of Asheboro. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren.
