He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Reece and Cleta Poole Kivett; his son Monty Christopher Kivett; and his brother Norman Kivett. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Ray Burgess Kivett; his children, Lisa Gay Johnson (Rick) of Barnesville, GA and Ryan Burgess Kivett (Penny) of Glen Allen, VA; his grandchildren, Erin Driskell (Jonathan), Kelly Page (Keith), Jerry Christopher Kivett and Justin Reece "J. R."; and his great grandchildren, Gavin Driskell, Karoline Page, Jaxson Driskell, Kinley Page, Remington Driskell and Klara Kate Page.
