She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Lynn Welch; her son Darryl Lee Gilmore; and her parents, Cecil Jennings and Lola Hutchens Jennings. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Edwards of Ramseur; her siblings, Nancy Hughes of Randleman and David Jennings of Asheboro; and her grandchildren, Josh Wright, Felicia Miller, Caleb, Justin Overman and Hope.
