James Canoy Sr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Canoy Sr. (Ramseur, North Carolina), who passed away on January 23, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roby Canoy and Myrtle Greeson Canoy; and his sister Janie Summer. He is survived by: his wife Nellie Mae Canoy; his children, Barbara McDonald of Asheboro, Cynthia Grimmett (Rex) of Paris, Jana Hurley (Randy) of Asheboro, Becky Ellis (Brad) of Ramseur and Jimmy Canoy; and his siblings, Nancy Capps (Joe) of Franklinville, Brenda Gump (Raymond) of Asheboro, Robert Canoy (Dee) of Kernersville, Harold Canoy (Judy) of Asheboro, Glenn Canoy (Sandra) of Laurel Springs, Richard Canoy (Dot) of Ramseur, Larry Canoy (Faye) of Asheboro and Roger Canoy (Krista) of Asheboro. He is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
