He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wade Hudson and Hattie York Hudson; his wife Dorothy Hendren Hudson; and his siblings, Walter Worth Hudson, James Maxton "Mac" Hudson and Rachel Hudson Clayton.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Bailey (Mike) of York, SC and Greg Hudson (Denise) of Ramseur; his brother David Hudson (RoseAnn) of Live Oak, FL; his grandsons, Nathan Bailey (Jennifer), Brandon Bailey (Jessi) and Noah Hudson; and his great grandchildren, Andrew Bailey, Chandler Bailey, Dakota Bailey and Caroline Bailey.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home (147 Coleridge Rd, Ramseur, NC 27316). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel (147 Coleridge Rd, Ramseur, NC 27316).
