With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred W. Morgan of Ramseur, North Carolina, born in Star, North Carolina, who passed away on November 19, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Patterson Morgan; his parents, James Henry and Carrie Spivey Morgan; and his siblings, Mae Morgan Allen, Lois Morgan McKenzie, Belle Morgan Permar, Frank Issac Morgan, Clyde Grayson Morgan and Jimmy Vernon Morgan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elisa Tallant (Kenny) of Asheboro and Cindy Maness (Ralph) of Asheboro; his granddaughter Brooke Powell (Matt) of Nathalie, VA; his great grandchildren, Carrington Powell of Nathalie, VA and John Henry Powell of Nathalie, VA; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Chapell Morgan of Newport News, VA. He is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews.
