He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Marie Davis of Asheboro, Shirley Davis Suits (Eddie) of Staley, Deborah Davis Braddock of Asheboro, Ronald Ervin Davis (Melynda) of Seagrove and Steven Ray Davis (Brenda) of Asheboro. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
