She was predeceased by: her parents, Bascom Richardson and Lois Lednum Richardson; her brother Carl Lee Richardson; and her brother-in-law Earl Bray. She is survived by: her husband Lynn Fields; her daughter Sandy Fields of Aberdeen; her sisters, Donna Burleson (Ric) of Asheboro and Judith Bray of Asheboro; and her nieces and nephews, Jaime Kirby of Virginia, Connie Thomas of Ramseur, Tony Bray of Asheboro and Robbie Richardson of Ramseur.
