She was predeceased by: her husband James Edwards; her parents, Little John and Lillie Janie Evans Kinton; her son James Darin Edwards; and her siblings, David Kinton and Wyvette Kidd.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Hodgin (Rusty) of Ramseur and Janie Duncan (Tim) of Franklinville; her sisters, Jackie Honeycutt (Darrell) of Franklinville and Rhonda King (Wayne) of Bennett; her grandchildren, Joshua Hodgin (Kaley), Jacob Hodgin (Brittany), Sadie Duncan, Josh Wright, Felicia Miller (Caleb) and Justin Overman (Hope); and her sister-in-law Faye Kinton of Siler City. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
