He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Moore Lednum; his parents, Cletis Lee and Mamie Poindexter Lednum; and his siblings, Garland, Carson, C. L. Lednum, Lois Richardson and Phyllis Denzler.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Lednum (Melissa) of Woodruff, SC and Jennifer Lednum Scott (Andy) of Pinehurst; his siblings, Elizabeth Jessup, Sue Wright of Spartanburg, SC, Gilbert Lednum of Asheboro, Lexie Lednum (Nancy) of Mocksville and Benny Ray Lednum (Linda) of Dacusville, SC; and his grandchildren, Tyler Scott, Lauren Scott, Joshua Lednum and Jessica Lednum.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home (147 Coleridge Rd, Ramseur, NC 27316). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Whites Chapel Community Church (1843 Low Bridge Rd, Liberty, NC 27298).
