She was predeceased by: her parents, Cloyd Benjamin Spinks and Myrtle Lee Siler Spinks. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Spinks (Lavern) of Greensboro, Elizabeth Spinks of New York and Tyrone Cheek (Jackie) of Asheboro; her siblings, Cloyd "Ed" Spinks of Liberty and Martha Matthews of Franklinville; her grandchildren, Daisy Marshall, Crystal Brower, Amber Spinks, Kendra Spinks, Tyler Cheek, Franklin Goodwine and Destiny Cheek; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Sanders, Alexis Marshall, Karter Spinks and Khari Cheek.
