He is survived by: his wife Pat Maness Springle; his daughters, Suzanne Willis of Mebane and Tara Byrd (Dan) of Boston, MA; his stepsons, Scott Maness (Leah) of Ramseur and Tracey Maness (Alexandra) of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Grace Byrd, Olivia Byrd, Piper Byrd, Charlotte Byrd, Makenna Willis, Tori Maness and Daniel Maness; his nephew Michael Springle; and his niece Melodi Jordan.
